At Preston Trail Community Church, each weekend is a huge celebration of what God is doing in and through our community. In both of our 60-minute Sunday morning services, you will experience worship, teaching, and community that is intentionally geared to help you find and follow Jesus Christ:
Our worship pastor, Warren Jacobs is just that, a pastor. Through his leadership, we want each person to be deeply led into worship of our God in our gatherings. The music is modern and creative but not overbearing. We want God to be the consumer of our praise for His glory and not ours.
In all things, we hold God’s Word as an authority for teaching in our lives. Senior Pastors Jim and Paul teach from the Bible in each message and use Scripture as the foundation for teaching practical and inspiring messages.
In case you haven’t noticed, we are big on helping people find and follow Christ. We believe that God has called us to know him deeply and follow Him with whole-hearted energy. These are things we try to remind ourselves and our guests of each weekend during our worship gatherings.
Ultimately, all of our praise and worship is for the glory of Jesus Christ. We never want to lose sight of the fact that His resurrection is our reason for worship and we desire to point to Him in all things.
Lights, screens, and sounds are cool but they can sometimes be a distraction for the worshipper. For each of our gatherings, we try to protect the worship environment by not letting technology get in the way of worship by being used too much or incorrectly.
Many times during a worship gathering, people will be called to action. With each teaching message and worship gathering, we give a clear path to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Sometimes this “next step” is serving or doing justice and sometimes it is reflection and personal.
We hope you come worship with us during one of our weekend gatherings. Please check out the service times and info to find the one that best fits your schedule.
