LEADER NOTES:

The link below is to the CR Inside Newsletter I want to share with you. It is amazing what God is doing in prisons and this transformation is something we are passionate about. If anyone is interested in helping out in this area of recovery please send an email to cr@prestontrail.org. Please take a moment to check it out: http://www.crinewsletter.com/. You can also keep up to date on CRI happenings on the CRI Blog which is located at http://crinside.blogspot.com/.

Celebrating Recovery in Christ with you,

Thom Morris

Here's what it's all about...

Get real.  Celebrate Recovery provides you with a safe place to get real about your hurts, habits and hang-ups.

Safe. CR is a safe place to share experiences, strengths and hopes with others that are going through a Christ-centered recovery.

You’re not alone. CR provides leaders who have gone through a similar hurt, hang-up or habit who will facilitate the group as it focuses on a particular step each week.

Help. CR provides the opportunity to have an accountability partner or a sponsor.

We will not attempt to offer any professional clinical advice, nor do we allow group members to “fix” one another. Our leaders are not counselors; however, upon request a list of approved counseling referrals can be provided.

Ready?  If you’re ready to give CR a try, just show up!  Come Thursday nights starting at 7:00pm for Large Group.

Freedom. Wholeness. Abundant Life. You really can have it all.

How to participate:

Every Thursday night
No sign-up, just show up!

Large Group 7:00 pm
Join us for a time of worship, personal stories and teaching on the Twelve Steps and Recovery Principles.

Issue Groups (Open Share) from 8:00pm
At the conclusion of our large group meeting, we will break into gender-specific issue groups for more in-depth discussions. The gender-specific open issue groups will provide more focused sharing of similar struggles. Teachings from the large group meeting or devotional readings will be used to initiate discussion.  Participants are encouraged to comment, read or just listen. You are welcome to come and not say anything.

Newcomers' Meeting at 8:00pm
We encourage all first-timers to attend one session of our Newcomers' Group. You will receive a brief introduction to CR through a short video, discussion of our meeting format and some personal stories. There is no obligation to share. Just join us and find out about CR, ask questions and determine if it is a good fit for you.

Solid Rock Café is from 9:00 - 9:30pm.

When we have dinner on the second Thursday, dinner will start at 6:30

Child Care available from 6:30 to 9:30pm For ages up to 4th grade.
