At Preston Trail we recognize that children are a gift from God. We offer Child Dedication twice each year during our Sunday morning services.
What Child Dedication IS NOT:
- Child dedication is not infant baptism. We believe that baptism is a public statement of faith that can only be made by someone who has personally come to faith in Christ.
What Child Dedication IS:
- an opportunity for parents to publicly declare their commitment to raise their child in a Christ-centered home, with the desire that their child will come to know and love Jesus and one day become a fully devoted follower of Christ.
- an opportunity for our church family to join parents in this commitment as a loving community that supports and prays for your family.
