PT kids

Creating a FIRST IMPRESSION of the Heavenly Father in such a way that it creates a LASTING IMPRESSION in the heart of a child.

PT Kids Preschool is made up of two groups: nursery (infants to 24 months) and early preschool (age 2 to young 4s)

Nursery: During their first two years, children need to know that church is a safe place where they feel loved and happy. Our carefully screened nursery volunteers know they are teaching little ones about God’s loving character through their smiles, gentle touch and attentive care.

Early Preschool: We use games, songs, crafts and stories to help little ones understand three basic truths: God Made Me, God Loves Me and Jesus Wants to be my Friend Forever! Our age-appropriate curriculum and the best children’s ministry volunteers anywhere keep kids running to our doors week after week!

ptkidsNeed to Know Info:

Because we know it’s a long week when blankie gets left behind--please label all personal items with your child’s name!

What to bring:

Diaper Babies:
In a small diaper bag, please include the following:
-2 or 3 disposable diapers
-a complete change of clothes
-pacifier, blankie or other security item your child might need
-a bottle of milk, formula, juice or water (a good practice even for nursing babies)

Potty-Trainers: an extra set of underwear and clothes is a plus. Please also take your child to the potty prior to check-in and affix a Potty Training tag (located at the check-in desk) so we are in the know.

Snacks: PT Kids Preschool is a peanut-free environment. We provide Cheerios for babies sitting independently up to 24 months and goldfish crackers for 2s, 3s and 4s. If your child has an allergy, please fill out and affix an Allergy Alert sticker when your child is checked in to PT Kids Preschool.

Saying Goodbye: Relax—we’ve got it covered! When it is time to check into your child’s class, simply wave a quick good-bye and leave for the service.  If your little one cries our teachers will immediately try to create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will be back soon, so you can grab a cup of coffee and head to the Worship Center.

What happens if my child continues to cry? Don’t worry—we’ll keep you posted. If your child cannot be consoled after 15 minutes, we will page you with the number on security badge you received at check-in.

Wellness Policy: We operate a well-child ministry.  For the protection of all children, we must decline admission to children with the following symptoms: runny nose, fresh cold (4 days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. Thank you in advance for helping us keep PT Kids Preschool a healthy place!
