PROBLEMS RECEIVING E-MAILS FROM PTCC?
One possible way to avoid having e-mail that you want to receive from being marked as spam is to add the sender to your address book (info@prestontrail.org). There are also ways that you can report to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) that a solicited e-mail is not spam. Depending on your e-mail provider, another possible way
to get around the problem is to explicitly whitelist or safelist a
given e-mail account (info@prestontrail.org) or a given
domain name (www.prestontrail.org). Check with your specific provider
to see if whitelisting/safelisting is offered and/or supported. Common e-mail provider instructions on adding an address to your address book: SBC or Yahoo! • To add PTCC Communications to your address book, sign in to your mail account, click on "Addresses" to go to your Address book, click the "Add Contact" button, enter "info@prestontrail.org" in the "E-mail" field, and click the "Save" button. • To encourage Yahoo! not to classify the e-mail as spam, open the e-mail from your Bulk folder and click on the "Not Spam" button. Hotmail or MSN • To add PTCC Communications to your address book, sign in to your mail account, click on "Contacts" to go to your Address book, click the "New" button, enter "Preston Trail Community Church" in the "Quickname" field and "info@prestontrail.org" in the "Personal" E-mail Address field, and click the "Save" button. • To encourage Hotmail not to classify the e-mail as spam, open the e-mail from your "Junk E-Mail" folder and click on the "Not Junk Mail" button.
