Needed Items for Hurricane Victims

Frisco Family Services Center is in need of help for victims of Hurricane Katrina that have made their way to Frisco and are in need of assistance.  The families that we have seen are in need of food, clothing, and shelter.  Potentially, FFSC will see many more flood victims as the devastation of this reality sets in and families begin to relocate.  We need help from the community to help us keep up with the increase in demand for food and clothing.

Please consider donating items from the following list:

Food and Hygiene Items Needed

• Mac & Cheese                                        
• Ramen Noodles
• Canned Tuna
• Canned Pasta Meals
• Jelly
• Canned Chili
• Baby Formula
• Baby Food (jars)
• Canned Vegetables (no green beans)
• Pastas
• Snack Items
• Boxed or bagged Rice
• Bagged Pinto Beans
• Fruit cans or Cups
• Drinks/Water
• Toilet Paper
• Paper Towels
• Diapers
• Soap
• Shampoo/Conditioner
• Deodorant
• Toothpaste
• Plastic Ware (utensils, plates, bowls)

New Clothing and New Household Goods

• Clothes (all ages and sizes)
• Shoes (all ages and sizes)
• Bath Towels
• Bed Linens
• Can Openers

                                    **** Gently used items will be taken to Frisco Resale and we will provide  vouchers for these families to go and shop for needed items.

Misc. Items

• Gift certificates for restaurants
• Gift certificates for gas
• Gift certificates for Entertainment (movies, sporting events, etc...)
