mexico orphan worshipIn 1986, Guadalupe Carmona (Mama Lupita) took in four abandoned children in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  Though she already had four children of her own, she felt God's call to help those less fortunate.  Twenty-three years later, Casa Hogar Elim is home to 108 children of all ages. Mama Lupita instills in each child the message that God loves and cares for them.

Because the orphanage is privately run, it relies completely upon private donations.  Preston Trail is one of four churches from around the U.S. that are partnering with Mama Lupita to help her raise strong Christian men and woman who will have a positive impact on their community.

There are several ways to participate in Casa Hogar:

  • Sponsor a child
  • Go on one of PTCC's many trips to the orphanage this year
  • Give the orphanage a one-time gift
  • Give to the Casa Hogar Elim College Fund
