What denomination is Preston Trail?
Preston Trail is a non-denominational, Bible-believing community of people who seek to give our lives to help people find and follow Jesus Christ. Preston Trail is part of the Willow Creek Association.
Is Preston Trail a “seeker church”?
If by “seeker church” you mean one that compromises or waters down the message of the Gospel, then Preston Trail is certainly not a seeker church. But if by “seeker church” you mean a group of people who have a laser focus to be like Jesus in giving up our preferences, desires and comfort in order to share God’s grace in a way that allows people who are far from God to hear it and relate to it and respond to it in a life-transforming way—then yes, Preston Trail is definitely a seeker church!
What activities do you offer for kids?
We offer excellent, age-appropriate programming for kids through 5th grade at all our service times. In addition, we offer summer camps and other special events for kids and families throughout the year.
What activities do you offer for middle & high school students?
IN BETWEEN TIME on Sundays is an hour intentionally focused on providing students an opportunity to connect with God, with other students and with adult leaders in small groups. REALTIME is the Wednesday night gathering dedicated to providing a place for students to connect with Christ while having fun and meaningful experiences with friends. In addition, we offer summer camp and other special events for students throughout the year.
How do I become a member?
At Preston Trail you don’t have to be a “member” to get a sense of belonging. In fact, our whole church is designed to make it easy for people to belong in meaningful ways. You can join the Men’s or Women’s Ministries, a Couples’ or Singles’ Group, Celebrate Recovery, serving teams and many other groups without being a “member.” Our feeling is, if you come here, you belong here!
Instead of traditional church membership, we offer Partnership as a way that people at Preston Trail demonstrate they are fully committed to following Jesus’ way of life, living a biblical lifestyle and growing into the person God had in mind when He created them.
How do I get to know people?
Three primary ways to connect with others at Preston Trail are through small groups, serving teams and compassion opportunities.
