
Project Compassion '10
When: December 11th, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Where: Preston Trail Community Church
Who: Women of Preston Trail, their friends, sisters, mothers, daughters, etc! (no girls younger than middle school, please)
What: Your opportunity to share a little compassion this Christmas! We’ll spend time together enjoying breakfast, some Christmas inspiration, and we’re going to do projects to serve people in need. Let’s bring the true spirit of Christmas to those in need!
Why: “We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19
How Much? $7 (register online now), and one canned food item to be brought the day of the event

PTCC Christmas Party
Making picture frames and assembling jars of bath salts for the under privileged families who attend the party
Strength Bracelets for Beads of Courage
Making polymer bracelets for kids diagnosed with cancer
Homeless in Dallas
Assembling bags of necessities for the homeless in our area
Nursing Home
Making scarves and handwriting notes for the residents of the nursing home
Frisco Day Laborers
Assembling bags of non-perishable snacks for the workers
Casa Hogar Elim Orphanage
Wrapping shoe boxes full of gifts and designing Christmas cards for the orphans
Christie Elementary
Decorating and assembling jars of cookie mix for teachers and faculty
Lwala
Writing encouraging notes for the clinicians in Lwala
FISD Small World Angel Tree
Donating gifts to the students in FISD who are homeless or on the free/reduced lunch plan
Uganda
Writing encouraging notes and praying for the PTCC team who will be going to Uganda on a vision trip
