Project Compassion '09
When: December 5th, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Where: Preston Trail Community Church
Who: Women of Preston Trail, their friends, sisters, mothers, daughters, etc! (no girls younger than middle school, please)
What: Your opportunity to share a little compassion this Christmas! We’ll spend time together enjoying breakfast, some Christmas inspiration, and then allow time for you to participate in a compassion project of your choosing. We’re providing all the supplies—all you need to provide are willing hands and a giving heart! Let’s bring the true spirit of Christmas to those in need!

How Much? $5 due at registration, and one canned food item to be brought the day of the event

Through Project Compassion '09, you will have opportunities to serve:
Casa Hogar Elim Orphanage
Filling & wrapping shoe boxes full of gifts for orphans
Samaritans' Heart
Making cards and bookmarks for nursing home residents
Beads of Courage
Making polymer beads for kids diagnosed with cancer
Women's Oncology Unit
Making blankets for women undergoing chemotherapy (no sewing involved!)
Seed Sowers Prison Ministry
Making cards & bookmarks for women in prison
Christie Elementary
Assembling and decorating jars of cookie mix for teachers & faculty
