Women’s Ministry Retreat

Our PT Women's Retreat is an annual highlight for the women of Preston Trail. Each August we enjoy the opportunity to leave behind the demands of our busy scheules and spend a couple of days growing closer to God and each other in a special setting. Whether you have attended Preston Trail for years or you have not yet visited our weekend service, you will find the PT Women's Retreat a welcoming atmosphere.

WHAT NOT TO WEAR--The 2008 PT Women's Retreat was a wonderful weekend that encouraged women to examine the "clothing" of their hearts--are they cloaked in busyness and stress, or gratitude and praise? Amidst the beautiful surroundings of the five-star Westin Stonebriar Resort, women were able to develop and deepen friendships in a meaningful way. Featured speaker Kari Stainback challenged women to adorn themselves in a manner pleasing to God, and breakout speakers led sessions dealing with topics ranging from friendship and gossip to parenting and marriage.

RENEW—The theme of the 2007 Women’s Ministry Retreat was a perfect fit for the beautiful surroundings of Lantana Lodge, a lakeside resort near Pilot Point, Texas. In just two short days women enjoyed excellent Bible teaching, times of meaningful praise and worship, delicious food, and a fun evening of relationship-building through games and pampering spa treatments! Women who arrived on Friday afternoon feeling stretched and depleted were able to go home the next day rested in mind, body and spirit.
